Founded in 1984 by Brian McCairn, Bri-Mac has developed through experience and response to the developing technologies and requirements of the Bearing Housing industry.
Never a company to stand still, the evolutions of our team’s skills, processes and technologies has meant that while our products have become the gold standard for Bearing Housing across the UK, our core values have strengthened as we work closely together to keep our customer service at the forefront of our work.
Today, Brian’s son Paul McCairn manages the company. As a graduate in mechanical and production engineering, he is proud to be following in his father’s footsteps.
In addition to a strong UK customer base, Paul is enthusiastic and eager to promote the company’s products on a worldwide scale.

Paul McCairn- Managing Director at Bri-Mac Engineering
Educated to Degree level in mechanical and Production Engineering, Paul has spent his entire working career working for Bri-Mac Engineering and is highly experienced in solving bearing housings solutions.
To ensure Bri- Mac maintains a competitive advantage, his roles at Bri-Mac include sales, purchasing, and managing strategy. He is wholeheartedly dedicated to the success of the company and the team who thrive within it. Always seeking out new opportunities for development and growth, Paul is an innovator and passionate about finding solutions whatever the client’s requirements may be.
Paul is a board member of the Black Country Chamber of Commerce, where he proudly takes responsibility for representing the manufacturing sector.
He is also the vice chairman of the Midlands World Trade Forum, which helps companies develop their export performance by providing a forum through which they can help each other which demonstrates the commitment and ethos of the Bri- Mac leadership under Paul.
