Winners of Two West Midlands Business Awards

Another proud moment this year was our successful awards season! Bri-Mac Engineering was honoured with two awards at the 2025 West Midlands Business Awards:

• Family Business of the Year
• International Manufacturer of the Year

Receiving both awards on the same evening was an extraordinary achievement and one that reflects the strength of our values, our heritage, and our growing global presence.

Family Business of the Year

We are really touched by this award. It holds special meaning for us. Bri-Mac has always been built on strong family values, long-term relationships, and genuine care for the people we work with. Although the company is led by generations of family members, every person who works at Bri-Mac is considered part of that family.

Many of our team members have been with us for years, and it is their loyalty, expertise, and craftsmanship that shape the engineering excellence we are known for. This award recognises our leadership history and the family culture at Bri-Mac Engineering.

International Manufacturer of the Year

We were equally proud to be named International Manufacturer of the Year, a recognition of our global reach and the reputation Bri-Mac has earned across borders.

Our products support industries throughout Europe and all over the world. This award highlights our ability to deliver high-quality, precision-engineered solutions to international clients. It means our products are as praised by businesses around the world, as well as the black country and local area.

Project Spotlight

This year, one of our standout projects was delivering precision-engineered housings for a copper mine in northern Chile. The project involved manufacturing two large, angled steel bearing housings, designed to withstand demanding conditions and ensure long-term reliability.

Continuing our work in the mining sector and across South America, we also secured an order for four large housings for a new customer in Peru. Through close collaboration, advanced machining techniques, and rigorous quality control, we provided a cost-effective, high-performance solution that enhances operational efficiency, reduces downtime, and improves reliability for critical mining applications.

These projects highlight our commitment to engineering excellence, global reach, and delivering value-driven solutions for heavy industry.

Continued Investment

In September, we strengthened our manufacturing capabilities with the purchase of a new Puma DNT2600LM Horizontal Single Turret Lathe equipped with advanced live tooling. This technology allows milling, drilling, and tapping operations to be carried out in a single setup, significantly reducing the need for secondary machining and cutting overall cycle times.

As a result, we’ve already seen improvements in productivity and a more streamlined, efficient production process, ensuring we continue to deliver high-quality components with even greater precision and speed.

Growth, Partnerships, and Expanding Horizons

2025 has also been a year of growth for Bri-Mac Engineering. We have strengthened existing client relationships while forming new partnerships both within the UK and internationally. Our continuous investment in quality systems, people, and processes has enabled us to broaden our capabilities and operate with greater confidence and consistency across the industries we serve.
