Special FSAFS 238 Housings

Following the successful appearance at XXXIII Convención Internacional de Minería –Acapulco in November 2019, we had the pleasure a few months later to supply a leading Steel Mill with a selection of Cast Steel Bearing Housings.

Special FSAFS 238 Housings with special, split Taconite Seals were supplied to suit a new installation to run during 2020. Also on the same delivery was a set of new flame-cut steel Bearing Housings for use on the coil handling bay.

Our designers set about improving the sealing area and in doing so, improved the method of re-lubrication. In all, a “win-win” on all sides.

After the successful installation, we look forward to providing further solutions to their maintenance team during 2021 and beyond.
