XXXIII Convención Internacional de Minería – Acapulco 2019.

Taking up a prominent corner stand, we exhibited in Acapulco at the largest annual Mining Exhibition that Mexico has to offer.  A successful 10 day visit, including several visits to long standing customers, concluded with a very successful attendance at the exhibition. It was a great opportunity to show our latest products to key decision makers within the industry and led to the securing of new contracts.

September 2019

Having received a set of very old drawings from a UK bearing distributor, our CAD team set about re-engineering the old designs with a brief to make the bearing housing stronger.  The work resulted in the full production of the Crusher Housing shown.  Now boasting a solid base and an easy to fit seal, our customer now has the contract moving forward to purchase from the UK.

July 2019

The SGB range of housings is not so popular these days but after a quick conversation with a UK distributor, their problems were solved.

We got to work quickly and manufactured a pattern to produce a set of SGB 3052 Cast Iron Bearing Housings.  Rapid delivery onto our shop floor made for successful and tightly control production.

The customer was happy - it felt good to make these again.

May 2019

After receiving an order from a Belgium OEM, we supplied a set of ZLGO Cast Iron Fan Bearing Housings.

With large oil cavities and special seals, we provided a homegrown solution for a customer who would have otherwise had to wait many months from a competitor.

March 2019

After many hours of R&D and intricate machining, we completed the second order of some special Water-Cooled Bearing Housings for a large Cement Plant in Cambodia. Our design team were tasked with the target of reducing the current unworkable working temperature to one that enabled the bearings to run without constant maintenance.

We designed a set of special steel housings with water-jackets to reduce the temperature and increase efficiency. Having successfully achieved our aim, we have been informed that our design will be used in future projects.

An engineering success story!

January 2019

A fresh start to the year meant further investment in a brand-new machine: Doosan PUMA GT2600.

This addition further increases our CNC Turning Centre capacity and will help to reduce lead-times even more.
